Branson Hotels - A Place in the Ozarks..

Caught somewhere between a Norman Rockwell painting and a Samuel Clemmons novel (better known as Mark Twain) lies an are of the United States that really is a not often thought of place to visit. The area is Branson Missouri. I think what really brings me to thinking about Branson is the vision of a small town fair, with the merry go round, and live performances. Well, if you must know Branson has about 50 or so live performance theaters in and around the city. The trick is finding great Branson hotels with great hotel rates. We happen to have two suggestions for hotels in Branson. One of course that caters to the high end crowd and the other suggestion for those that are looking for a nice clean place to stay.

Ok first for the budget option. This hotel is called the 1st Inn Gold. The 1st Inn Gold is located at 2719 West Highway 76 in Branson. The best way to define this hotel is basically for the traveler that really isn't looking to spend a lot of frills and luxuries but wants a nice clean hotel to stay. This hotel fits the bill. As it relates to the entertainment of the city of Bransom the 1st Inn Golf of Branson hotels is within walking distance to the Andy Williams theater, the White House and the Spirit of the Dance, to just name a few venues. Weekend rates for a couple if they were coming the 1st Inn Gold for this coming weeking of October 18th to the 20th can find rates at $69 a night. Of course this doesn't include taxes and other fees, but they really are nominal. For 1st Inn Gold hotel reservations the accompanying link can be found here.

To the high end of our discussion for hotels in Branson our conversation turns to the Chateau on the Lake in Branson. There is no doubt if you look at the accompanying link you'll see the marked difference between the hotel suggested above and this one. This is one very upscale hotel. This hotel, if one were to look at it from the lake, could almost be confused with a castle. Daunting, tall and royal in its pose, the Chateau on the Lake is just great. From great dining to the on site spa. If going to Branson and staying in accommodations of class is your choice than check out the Chateau on the Lake in Branson reservations page. I really think this is a great choice if you're looking to get away from the typical spot of the sunny shore or the ski lodge. Branson is no doubt good old fashioned down home and wholesome American, and something many of you may not have enjoyed.

Branson in the midst of Ozark Mountains is a perpetual action scene. The city has 52 live performance theatres, which has year round performances. The Silver Dollar City a world-class theme park, the Table Dock Lake Dinner cruise or a helicopter are just some of the few attractions. The Celebration City has 30 rides, the Ozark Wild Cat wooden roller coaster ride being a favorite. Other prominent shows include the Dolly Parton’s Dixie Stampede Dinner & Show and the Showboat Branson Belle. The city has few wineries, where one can take a tour of the winery and learn the craft of winemaking.
